EMS ANALYST

Dollar Tree Richmond, VA (Onsite) Full-Time
Energy Analyst will support and work closely with store associates to make sure energy systems are in working order.
Responsible for supporting energy management team in EMS program management and diagnostics, lighting maintenance, and utility cost savings initiatives.

The Role functions include: equipment repair diagnostics, work order management, project management on energy efficiency projects and utility bill tracking and analysis.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities - Primary responsibilities listed in order of importance
• Resolves utility-related inquires to support business continuity
• Supports variety of utility bill pay related functions, including rebate check processing and Exceptions management
• Responsible for supporting peak load curtailment programs in retail stores.
• Responsible for processing department invoices for consultants and service providers
• Perform equipment diagnostics in partnership with EMS vendors to support stores
• Responsible for maintaining store comfort and equipment performance reports to support teams within Prop Management.
• Ability to work with third-party providers to include utility companies, rebate companies, energy management platforms, and lighting vendors
• Responsible for identifying, investigating and providing recommendations on high energy usage locations.
• Database creation and maintenance for team efforts (EMS projects, Lighting, Community Solar)
• Responsible for tracking and executing energy efficiency projects.
• Responsible for implementing the lighting maintenance program• Responsible for running financial reports and coordinating efforts with internal teams.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications - Summary of knowledge, experience and education required.
• College degree from an accredited college or university
• Two to five years’ experience in an energy-related or sustainability-related field

• Must have a working knowledge of energy management principles and concepts
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong organization skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Proficient in Excel

Must be fully vaccinated from COVID-19, as defined by the CDC, by the date of hire. Proof of vaccination required. Request for medical or religious accommodation must be made prior to the start date

Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in environmental science, sustainability, energy and resources, or a related field
• Experience in retail energy management platforms are a plus (Opus, Cylon, Novar, Venstar, etc.)
• Experience with Sustainability reporting (CDP, SASB, TCFD, etc.)
• Experience with cloud-based integration of existing energy management platforms
• Experience with work order management systems (Service Channel, SMS Assist, Officetrax, etc.)
