General Summary:
The Analyst, Product Safety & Regulatory Compliance Reporting will play a key role in maintaining the company's compliance with a growing and complex landscape of federal and state product reporting and registration requirements. This role is responsible for managing and executing a centralized, proactive compliance program for products such as children’s products, household chemicals, apparel, pesticides and various other product categories that are subject to regulatory oversight. This individual will monitor regulatory changes, coordinate reporting and registration efforts across business units, and drive continuous improvement in compliance processes to mitigate risks, avoid penalties, and ensure uninterrupted sales. The Analyst will also participate in project coordination activities on an as-needed basis.

Office work environment, 40+ work hours per week
Minimum Requirements:
Education: BA/BS in addition to relevant work experience
Experience: 5+ years of experience performing administrative duties in regulated environments

This individual will monitor regulatory changes, coordinate reporting and registration efforts across business units, and drive continuous improvement in compliance processes to mitigate risks, avoid penalties, and ensure uninterrupted sales. The Analyst will also participate in project coordination activities on an as-needed basis.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage a structured product reporting and registration program across applicable regulatory jurisdictions.
- Serve as the internal subject matter expert on reporting and registration requirements for regulated product categories, including pesticides, children's products, household chemicals, and various other product categories.
- Proactively monitor federal and state regulatory changes impacting product registration and reporting and communicate relevant updates to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Regulatory, Quality, Legal, Merchandising, and Supply Chain teams, among others, to collect data, validate product information, and ensure timely, accurate submissions.
- Maintain up-to-date records and documentation of reporting activities, submissions, and approvals to support regulatory audits and inquiries.
- Track and report on registration statuses, compliance risks, and deadlines; escalate concerns and delays as necessary.
- Identify gaps or process breakdowns contributing to noncompliance and recommend corrective actions to reduce regulatory risk.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to streamline registration and reporting workflows through automation or procedural updates.
- Develop internal reference tools, guidelines, and training materials to support cross-functional awareness of compliance responsibilities.
- Assist with audits, inspections, and inquiries from regulatory bodies related to product reporting and registration.
- Participate in project coordination activities on an as-needed basis.

Job Related Skills:
- Strong knowledge or demonstrated ability to quickly learn federal and state product regulatory requirements, including EPA (FIFRA), CPSC, and state-specific product registrations.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and regulatory jurisdictions.
- Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to coordinate cross-functionally.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; experience with regulatory databases or compliance tracking tools preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Solution oriented with service mindset to understand situations, find solutions, and partner to enhance compliance functions.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, problem-solving, multi-tasking and prioritization capabilities.
- Strong communication, including interaction with merchants, suppliers and regulators.
- Capacity to operate both strategically and tactically as needed.
