Lead HR Support Services Specialist
Highly motivated professional to support HR Support Services functions, training, and business partnerships
Ability to create, manage and deliver reporting and training guidelines to HR Support Services team and partners
Requires a solid understanding of procedural assessments and testing to support functions within a shared services area
Summary of Position
Assists in directing workflow and oversees reports of day-to-day HR Support Services functions
Assists in training HR Support Services Specialists and provides support as needed
Establishes and maintains team initiatives and specials projects, as needed
Steps in to perform duties of team members in their absence
Also serves as liaison between HR and the Field to ensure accuracy of personnel records and other documentation
Inputs, audits, and updates personnel transactions to maintain data integrity
Responds to questions regarding applicable policies and procedures
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
• Provides guidance on workflow to team
• Assists with training new HR Support Services Specialists including creating and updating process documentation
• Compiles collected data and information to produce reports for publication and distribution
• Manages and completes governmental reporting requirements
• Oversees reports of day-to-day activity
• Maintains strict confidentiality
• Provides professional customer service in a courteous and timely manner
• Provides HR system support to Field Operations (Store Managers, District Managers, Field & DC HR) and corporate teams including troubleshooting system issues and providing resolutions
• Performs transactions in the HR system with a high degree of accuracy
• Responds to incoming correspondence from associates and managers
• Handles any data entry, reporting and/or reconciliation as appropriate
• Reviews and reconciles data entered by other HR Support Services Specialists
• Audits and reconciles transactions entered in the HR Portal system (self-serve) by Store Managers, District Managers and Field & DC HR
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications
• 1-2 years of experience in a related field
• Excellent data entry skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Advanced Excel knowledge & skills
• Ability to handle confidential information discreetly
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience analyzing data
• Infor Lawson experience
• Governmental agency reporting experience
