Systems Analyst II

Dollar Tree/Family Dollar is seeking a candidate with junior level experience to provide technical operations support to DT enterprise applications including (support, administration, maintenance, audit, and enhancement) functions.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Administration, maintenance and support for all assigned software applications.
• Research, troubleshoot and resolve issues in assigned software application products.
• Identify recurring issues/problems and provide recommendations to eliminate or reduce incidents.
• Facilitate management and resolution of complex incidents/problems engaging other IT Teams and vendors as needed.
• Perform root cause analysis as required – Ability to thoroughly document RCA details and make improvements.
• Ensure smooth transitions from system changes/updates and projects into daily operations.
• Participate in Disaster Recovery and IT Business Continuity processes and policies.
• Meet technical and business SLAs.

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of IT Operations experience (support, maintenance, and administration)
• Experience with writing SQL, Scripting and Automation.
• Experience with operating systems (Linux & Microsoft, iSeries will be a plus)
• Experience with various support tools and Microsoft Office.
• Experience utilizing ServiceNow.
• A self-starter who can prioritize, and work both independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Desired Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (Business, Information Systems, Computer Science)
• Experience in Cloud and SaaS products, preferably Workday.
• 2+ years’ experience in Retail Industry
• ITIL Certificate
