In this role, you will manage and enhance select regulatory compliance programs as part of our Ethics & Compliance team. Specifically, you will manage our Anti-Corruption, Antitrust, Anti-Money Laundering, and other regulatory compliance programs. We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated professional. The Opportunity
In this role, you will manage and enhance select regulatory compliance programs as part of our Ethics & Compliance team. Specifically, you will manage our Anti-Corruption, Antitrust, Anti-Money Laundering, and other regulatory compliance programs. We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated professional. If you have a passion for driving excellence in Ethics & Compliance, along with strong regulatory acumen, exceptional judgment, impeccable integrity, and outstanding communication and collaboration skills, we want to hear from you.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Manage the design, implementation, execution, and continuous improvement of select regulatory compliance programs across all program building blocks, including standards and controls, training and awareness, and monitoring and response.
- Promote, facilitate, and monitor adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Facilitate the timely identification of relevant compliance risks and implementation of effective mitigation strategies to enable successful implementation of business strategies and initiatives.
- Ensure that the Company’s standards and controls and other program building blocks in select regulatory areas are effectively designed against internal governance requirements and are mapped to the Company’s risks and obligations.
- Identify KPIs and KRIs that measure and monitor program performance and risks and facilitate the implementation of effective tools to assess and strengthen those indicators.
- Assist in the development of short-term and long-term program goals, demonstrating the ability not only to prioritize and meet immediate needs but also to plan for the continuous improvement and refinement of programs over time.
- Collaborate with a broad range of functional experts and internal stakeholders on existing, new, and enhanced program elements, promoting and driving consistency with our governance requirements.
- Effectively distill complex situations and technical matters and communicate them simply and effectively to internal and external stakeholders.
- Be resilient and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Position Requirements:
- 5 or more years of professional experience in compliance, legal, risk, or governance.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Extensive experience developing, managing, and strengthening regulatory compliance programs.
- Experience in Anti-Corruption, Antitrust, Anti-Money Laundering, and other regulatory compliance areas relevant to retailers strongly preferred.
- Outstanding written communication skills, including significant experience and expertise in writing regulatory policies and procedures and training content.
- Highly effective communicator with strong personal presence and credibility and the ability to influence, engage, collaborate, and build trust-based relationships at all levels and across the organization.
- Excellent organization and project-management skills.
- Strong decision-making capabilities, even in ambiguous situations; adept at solving problems and seeing them through to resolution.
- Strategic thinking, with the ability to develop and implement successful program enhancements.
- Humble, resilient, and self-motivated, with a demonstrated ability to work autonomously.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
