Merchandise Data Manager
General Summary:
The Manager, Data Integrity is responsible for guiding, coordinating, monitoring, and assisting with Trait Management, Item Management, and the general data integrity tied to Merchandise execution. This position will ensure that the processes and procedures are executed consistently and in accordance with the company's goals and objectives to optimize merchandise execution efficiencies. Manages associates to ensure execution of processes and procedures in accordance to company goals. Responsible for ensuring the team is achieving service level agreements with business partners and defined data integrity metrics designed to drive execution.
Principle Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Item Management
a. Manages, owns, and supervises
i. All merchandising hierarchy changes.
ii. Creation of all documentation related to exception reporting, processes, and training.
iii. All merchandise data changes, maintenance, and cleansing.
iv. Item setup and creation process for data integrity and efficiencies.
b. Must have a thorough understanding of store, SKU, eligibility, and authorization practices.
c. Responsible for developing processes that identify and repair item data exceptions in conjunction with inventory control
d. Responsible for maintaining and creating, when necessary, the forms used for new item setups and SKU maintenance forms
2. Trait Management – Manages, owns and supervises…
b. Trait efficiency to prevent trait redundancy and to maintain streamlined assignment of traits.
c. Migration from location lists to location traits.
d. Responsibility of getting assortment trait data into RMS with 100% accuracy.
e. Execution of cross-functional compliance issues.
f. Trigger process that adds new stores to the assortment assignments.
3. Will act as the Subject Matter Expert for all technical projects that require changes to data management policies
4. Will act as single point of contact for issues relating to RMS & SharePoint and provide insights into system updates and process efficiencies for the Merchandising Solutions teams
5. Responsible for team development, improvement, and appraisals that drive personal success and satisfaction.
6. Works with team to create and provide continuous learning experiences to educate cross- functional partners of importance of data integrity and their roles in the processes and procedures
7. Primary contact for multiple teams (IT, tax, legal, asset protection) for troubleshooting systemic issues, assisting with knowledge shares, training and process improvements to streamline workflow between teams
8. Other duties as assigned
Position Requirements:
• Office work environment, 40+ work hours per week
• Up to 10% travel may be required

• Cross-train and serve as backup to other merchandise data related areas as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
Education: B.A or B.S in business related field preferred or equivalent work history
Experience: Three years of supervisory/management experience in a retail data integrity or Merchandising environment or four years of related analytical experience.
Job Related Skills: The ability to multitask and adapt to change while managing the interests of multiple stakeholders towards a common goal. Strong interpersonal skills are required.
Technical Skills: Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, SQL Developer, Ability to quickly learn new systems and business tools
