Graphic Production Coordinator, Creative & Private Brands monitors private label programs/items to help the business achieve overall departmental goals. The Graphic Production Coordinator supports a specific set of categories and brands, collaborating closely with Designers, Merchandising, Quality Assurance, Global Sourcing, and external agencies. Liaison between the graphics department and all internal departments and external vendors regarding the status of the job, assets, deadlines, and technical specifications. Monitor, track and execute delivery of graphic elements (assets, finished graphics, reference material,) from start to finish. Core activities encompass management and resolution of private label program/item projects including tracking programs and items through the label production, as well as the quality assurance process to ensure timely release of packaging art files to our suppliers.

Minimum Requirements:
Education: BS/BA or equivalent work experience
Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ experience with emphasis in Marketing or Creative Production; Project Management.
Retail background and CPG design or production art background is preferred.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
- Facilitate design projects, production, and review approvals for a particular set of categories/brands.
- Process reviews using Workfront, Email and other software.
- Process necessary translation requests and become familiar with mandatory translation requirements and format.
- Utilize legal database to manage the appropriate brand trademarks on private brand packaging.
- Maintain creative database, DAM/PIM, assign and maintain accurate keyword/meta data for Corporate Art, Stock Images, and other creative assets.
- Supervise & drive urgency and accountability amongst all parties throughout the process to ensure timeliness to release date.
- Act as a liaison between in-house customers and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Creative Manager, Designers, Merchandising, Global Sourcing and Quality Assurance, to execute items/projects within Private Brand policies/procedures.
- Build industry knowledge by studying your categories within local Dollar Tree stores, as well as other comparative retail stores, on a regular basis to identify new trends and opportunities. Evaluate and report to Creative Manager, the merchandise mix, overall competition look/feel, and translate findings into executable brand/category proposals as appropriate.
- Support data integrity initiatives and reporting for Private Brands. Update and maintain accurate information in GPS, SFTP, Macstor and other touchpoints. Help develop, operate, and maintain graphics database when in place (graphic requests, graphic logs), in addition to evaluating database for ways to improve and streamline.
- Maintain accurate record of item/programs in process via Production Schedule.
- Must be able to quickly communicate status of any item/program details upon being asked.
- Archive all support (e.g., rounds of layouts, feedback, photography, fonts) and final packaging artwork files on the Macstor Server within the department’s established saving conventions.
- Assist Creative Manager, and Designer as well as assigned category with maintaining current packaging artwork.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
